Wonderful Mudolo holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). Before joining CorpsAfrica, he served as an economist intern at the Economic Planning and Development under the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs. During the internship, he assisted in collecting project and program data, appraising projects according to the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP), and preparing work plans and budgets for the section, among others. In 2019, he worked as a field officer intern at Lusubilo Community Orphan Care. At this non-profit organization, he distributed seed vouchers to over 500 beneficiaries under the Sustainable Options Recommended for Testing (SORT) project. The project’s primary objective was to help enhance food security and strengthen the resilience of poor and vulnerable households by encouraging these households to adopt new technologies, such as the use of improved maize seed varieties and fertilizers that increase production in Karonga and Chitipa districts. Wonderful believes sustainable rural community development can never be imposed but should instead emerge and be led by the community itself. As such, he believes that CorpsAfrica is an excellent opportunity for him to learn and share his experiences and knowledge for sustainable development and alleviation of poverty among rural communities.
