Make an Impact with CorpsAfrica

CorpsAfrica recruits and places ambitious young Africans in rural, underserved communities within their own countries, where they can apply their education, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and step beyond their comfort zones to learn more about their countries and themselves. Volunteers work on small-scale, high-impact projects identified by local community members, addressing key needs while generating measurable results.

CorpsAfrica Volunteers come from diverse educational and professional backgrounds, including agriculture, gender, health, education, water and sanitation, environment, business, engineering, peace studies, language studies, and more. All must have a college degree or equivalent experience, and many bring prior experience in the social sector and in designing, implementing, and monitoring projects.

To support their success, Volunteers receive expert training in essential skills such as community integration, proposal development, and project design and management. This combination of training and hands-on experience provides a life-changing opportunity for personal growth and professional development.

Support CorpsAfrica

CorpsAfrica addresses two of Africa’s most difficult challenges: engaging youth and helping rural communities overcome extreme poverty. We recruit and train motivated volunteers to live and work in rural, under-resourced areas in their own countries. They collaborate with the community to design and implement small-scale projects that address their top priorities and, by doing so, gain the skills and experience that lay the foundation for personal and professional success.

CorpsAfrica trusts youth and communities to help each other.
