Accelerating Pathways and Dignified Work for African Youth
The CorpsAfrica Alumni Virtual Summit is a three-day, fully online event designed to equip African youth with the skills, tools, and networks needed to thrive in entrepreneurship and career development.
From October 17–19, 2025, 481 young Africans participated in interactive workshops, expert-led webinars, and networking sessions, exploring youth employment, entrepreneurship, and professional growth. The summit featured 32 speakers from 10 partner organizations, including:
Alumni-led businesses: Rchima Design, Dreams Kente Ventures, and Green Innovation Network
Youth Partner Organizations: UN Volunteer Program, EFE Maroc, Power Learn Project, Proportion Global, FCDO-British Embassy in Rabat, Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship, Moroccan Leadership Institute, and Tropical Snacks.
Through this annual event, CorpsAfrica supports young leaders in transitioning from service into meaningful careers, helping alumni launch businesses, lead nonprofits, and succeed in major organizations.

Day 1: Youth Employment and Market Needs
This day focused on helping participants navigate the competitive job market and build meaningful careers.
Key Sessions: The day kicked off with an open session on “Career Pathways Through Volunteerism – Onsite & Online UN Volunteers”.
Workshops: Attendees gained practical job-search tools through hands-on sessions covering resume and cover letter writing, personal branding, and interview techniques. The day provided insights from recruiters and alumni working in international organizations, highlighting employer expectations.
Day 2: Entrepreneurship Mindset in Africa and Investment Opportunities
Day two was dedicated to fostering entrepreneurial skills and sustainable ventures.
Workshops: Sessions guided alumni through building sustainable business models, using data for project success, and transforming community savings groups into thriving enterprises.
Webinars: Afternoon sessions focused on green entrepreneurship and climate action and featured the Alumni Entrepreneurship Journey, where successful alumni shared best practices and tips for applying to the CorpsAfrica Entrepreneurship Incubator (CEI).
Day 3: Opportunities for Professional Growth and International Exposure
The final day focused on leveraging the CorpsAfrica experience for advanced education and global roles.
Workshops: A session on “Work Smarter, Connect Smarter: Unlocking Opportunity with AI-Powered Networking” was held.
Webinars: The closing sessions included “Unlocking International Opportunities: Fellowships, Programs, and Scholarships”.
