Modern Ghana: Moroccan national Nadia Bennaoui bestowed traditional title in Northern Region

A Moroccan national, Nadia Bennaoui, has been honored with a traditional title in the Northern Region of Ghana in recognition of her outstanding contributions to community development.

She was enskinned as the Zisung Naa of Zaazi, a title that symbolizes her dedication to the progress and well-being of the people of Zaazi, a farming community in the Savelugu Municipality.

According to the Chief of Zaazi, Nadia’s efforts have brought significant transformation to the community, inspiring a shift in mindset toward self-reliance and sustainable development.

Nadia was deployed to Zaachi, a suburb of Savelugu, through the CorpsAfrica/Ghana initiative, where she led and supported several community-driven projects aimed at improving livelihoods, sanitation, education, and agriculture.
