Hajar Ait Hammou was born and raised in Ouled Teima, a small town located between Agadir and Taroudant, but she originated from Tafraout. She is a bachelor’s degree holder in English studies and linguistics from Ibn Zohr University in Agadir. Recently, she recently her diploma as a technician specializing in Business Management at the Institution of Applied Technology in Ouled Teima. Hajar is an alumnus of the Compass Program with Tamdould Association in Agadir. As well as in Academy for Women Entrepreneurs with Douar Tech in Taroudant region. Also, she was working as a volunteer with AIESEC organization for one year and six months as a member in business to customer department and a team leader in outgoing Global Talent Product. She had the chance to be part of the organization committee team to succeed in teaching 126 students the Sustainable Development Goals alongside the World Largest Lesson program. Hajar joined social work in her first year of high school with local associations. She actively participated in several social actions in her province. She always believes that social workers help relieve people’s suffering by listening and trying to understand their needs to end up improving their quality of life. As a CorpsAfrica volunteer, Hajar wants to make a positive impact in her community as she is very enthusiastic to live this wonderful adventure in her community. Hajar Ait Hammou is always inspired by Mary Rose McGeady’s saying “There is no greater joy nor greater reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone’s life.”
