Clarisse Abijuru was born and raised in Rwanda. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the esteemed Institute Catholique de Kabgayi. During her academic journey, she had the privilege of conducting her internship at CLECAM-Ejo Heza Plc. While pursuing her degree, Clarisse actively engaged in extracurricular activities, serving as a secretary and a dedicated member of the Girls Leadership Forum (GLF). Her commitment to personal and professional growth led her to attend the Grand Africa Initiative (GAIN) Youth Summit in 2022. Clarisse embarked on her professional journey as a field audit evidence collector at CHRISAH Company Ltd, where she later attended specialized training as a Junior Auditor in the Audit and Consultancy Department. Furthermore, she contributed her skills as a Recovery Officer at INEZA Polyclinic. Beyond this, Clarisse lent her expertise to the Rwanda Information Society Authority as a Digital Ambassador. In this role, she played a pivotal part in guiding community members on the effective use of online platforms for accessing services and utilizing USSD codes, all while prioritizing privacy protection and online safety. Clarisse’s philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that each individual is unique and possesses something truly exceptional, something no one else has or ever will. She recognizes the value of community development led by the very people it serves and is wholeheartedly committed to empowering and facilitating this process. Her mission is to help people realize their own rare and inherent worth, thereby contributing to the betterment of the community.
