Biography

Amidu Faiza Angela is a recent graduate of the University for Development Studies, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Development Education. Alongside her academic and professional pursuits, she is also a fashion designer, creating clothing that reflects culture, identity, and creativity.

Her volunteer journey began in 2023 with Ecowillow, where she served as a Sustainable Development Goals Educator, teaching young learners about sustainability and environmental responsibility. She later volunteered with the Learners Guide Foundation, helping to instill a love for reading among basic school pupils.

In 2024, Faiza joined the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) as a National Service Person, working as an Assistant Programs Officer. In this role, she contributed to civic education, peace campaigns, and community engagement initiatives that promoted good citizenship and social cohesion. Earlier in her career, she gained hands-on experience through a practicum with the Presbyterian Agric Station, supporting agricultural and livelihood projects, and also taught at St. Lucas School Complex during the 2018/2019 academic year.

Beyond her professional and volunteer experiences, Faiza has held leadership roles, including Vice President of the Upper East Students Union, where she strengthened her confidence, teamwork, and organizational skills.
