Biography

Gideon Asante is a committed educator and community development volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Ghana. In his role, he partners with local communities to design and implement sustainable projects that address real needs while building local capacity. His work reflects his belief in service, collaboration, and the power of people-led solutions.

Before joining CorpsAfrica, Gideon taught English with Lead For Ghana, where he strengthened students’ literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills through engaging and inclusive lessons. He also served as a Computer Support Specialist at the University of Cape Coast’s College of Distance Education, where he improved digital systems and student support services. Earlier, as a Data Collection Officer with AC Nielsen Ghana, he gained valuable experience in research and fieldwork.

Gideon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Cape Coast. He combines his skills in education, technology, and community engagement to create impact that is both practical and lasting.
