Biography
Godwin Latif Awini is a young graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology from the University for Development Studies (UDS). During his studies, he gained practical experience with reputable institutions, including the CSIR–Savanna Agricultural Research Institute and the Kintampo Health Research Center.
Beyond his scientific career, Godwin is passionate about community development and volunteerism. He was an active member of the WASH Club at UDS for three years, where he participated in hygiene education and sanitation campaigns. After graduation, he served with the Ghana Cocoa Board as an Administrative Assistant through the National Service program (2024–2025), during which he won the Western North Regional Chocolate Day Quiz organized for National Service personnel.
Motivated by his background growing up in rural communities, Godwin is inspired to contribute to sustainable solutions that empower people to improve their own lives. He joined CorpsAfrica/Ghana as a Volunteer to combine his skills, passion, and experiences to help communities unlock their potential and drive development from within. He believes that lasting change begins at the grassroots and hopes to be part of the generation that turns this belief into reality.
