Biography
Margret Ayoma is a hotelier by profession but majored mostly in community service. Having worked with Kenya Redcross Kakamega branch as the office administrative assistant, she developed a passion in working with communities, helping with projects, and office work. She is committed to community development moved with passion and motivation. During her time working with Kenya Redcross, she took part in several community-based development projects, responded during emergencies, offered first aid during public ceremonies and community events, assisted in distribution of medicine across all public hospitals within Kakamega county and participated in trainings and drills to improve disaster preparedness.
She also took a short course in Kenya Sign Language in order to be able to communicate with the deaf and hard of hearing community and improve inclusivity and serve my community better. She took part in different activities with the deaf community including church services and official holidays. Her vision is to make an impact through community services/ development. Besides work she enjoys listening to music, reading books and dancing. Currently she is a Volunteer with CorpsAfrica /Kenya.
