Biography

Alimatou Bah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Diploma in Leadership and Conflict Resolution. She is a National Youth Service Scheme (NYSS) graduate with a strong interest in public policy, governance, peacebuilding, and community development.

She has actively participated in socio historical research initiatives, including academic research trips to Senegal and Guinea Bissau, gaining regional exposure and cross cultural research experience. Alimatou also contributed to national data collection efforts through her participation in the Gambia Bureau of Statistics survey, strengthening her skills in field research and data gathering.

With a passion for grassroots engagement and youth led development, she is committed to promoting inclusive development, evidence based policy, and social cohesion through, leadership, and community service.
