Biography

Pacifique Zawadi Byiringiro is a Rwandan Civil Engineering graduate at INES-Ruhengeri. Her academic focus is on environmental sustainability, with research on wastewater treatment and water reuse in referral hospitals to address growing urban water management challenges.

She previously worked as a Kuja Kuja Insight Associate (2018–2020), where she developed expertise in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making. Currently, she is serving as a CorpsAfrica volunteer, applying Human-Centered Design and Asset-Based Community Development approaches to facilitate community-driven projects and sustainable solutions.

Pacifique has strong computer literacy and basic knowledge of ArchiCAD. She is passionate about sustainable infrastructure and environmental engineering, aspiring to pursue a master’s degree to advance innovative solutions in water and sanitation that improve community well-being and contribute to sustainable development in Rwanda and beyond.
