Biography
Yaya Cham is a driven and ambitious CorpsAfrica Volunteer with an Advanced Diploma in Secondary Education from the prestigious Gambia College, where he majored in English Language and Social and Environmental Studies (SES). Throughout his educational journey, he demonstrated strong determination, resilience, perseverance, and humility qualities that earned him the trust of his teachers and led to his selection as a class prefect.
Yaya has served as both a volunteer and contract teacher, where he applied his knowledge and skills to motivate, inspire, and encourage students to reach their full potential. He is highly service-oriented, consistently prioritizing the needs of others and contributing meaningfully to the greater good.
Beyond his professional engagements, Yaya has a passion for tailoring. He takes pride in bringing creative designs to life through fabric and stitching and finds fulfillment in seeing clients satisfied with their custom-made garments. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing and watching football, which supports his productivity, well-being, and overall happiness.
