David Chihana developed a passion for volunteering before graduating from college. He volunteered as a teacher with Majiga Community Day Secondary School in Nkhota-kota in 2015 before becoming an Intern with the Office of the Ombudsman in 2016. After graduating in 2017, David volunteered as a Secondary School Teacher at Nkhunga Community Day Secondary School where he was teaching Social and Development Studies, Life Skills, and History. He attended Phwezi Boys Secondary School and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political leadership from the Catholic University of Malawi before obtaining a Certificate in Project Management from the Staff Development Institute (Mpemba).
