Biography

Antwiwaa Cindy is a dedicated gender equality advocate and versatile individual, passionate about empowering young girls, particularly in menstrual health management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies with a minor in Linguistics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Cindy is an alumna of both the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI West Africa) and the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at KNUST.

She gained professional experience as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Energy and Natural Resources during her National Service.

Cindy’s strong commitment to leadership, gender equality, and inclusivity has seen her serve in key roles, including Women’s Commissioner for the Political Science Students Association (POSSA-KNUST) in 2021, the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at KNUST in 2022, and NASPA Sunyani-West in 2024. She currently serves as the Bono Regional Coordinator for the YALI Alumni Association–Ghana.

Cindy is passionate about giving back to society and finds joy in making a positive impact on others’ lives.
