Biography

Jawad Er-Rachdi, from Oulad Teima, Morocco, is an educator and community development practitioner with over six years of experience in the teaching profession. He earned a B.A. in English Studies with a focus on linguistics from Ibn Zohr University in Agadir, grounding his work in strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to effective pedagogy. He continuously invests in professional development through trainings in education and didactic methodology.

Jawad served with CorpsAfrica/Maroc in earthquake-affected communities, where he contributed to community-led rebuilding and development efforts. His work emphasized resilience, collaboration, and practical solutions that addressed both urgent needs and long-term priorities. He later participated in the CorpsAfrica Exchange Program in The Gambia, further broadening his cross- cultural experience and strengthening his competencies in facilitation, project support, and community engagement.

Across both Morocco and The Gambia, Jawad has cultivated a reputation for partnership-driven work, adaptability, and a belief in the power of locally informed solutions. Whether in the classroom or the field, he remains committed to advancing education, strengthening communities, and contributing meaningfully
to sustainable development.
