Alexis Iradukunda was born in Rwanda. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Catholic University of Rwanda in the Faculty of Science and Technology. He ventured into the world of professional photography, dedicating his talents from November 2022 to August 2023. However, his true calling lies in his commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children and supporting their education. Alexis is a co-founder of the organization “Friends of Motherland Initiative Ubumuntu,” which has a noble mission of safeguarding the rights of underprivileged children and ensuring they have access to their necessities. Before his involvement with Ubumuntu, Alexis dedicated his time as a Communication Officer in the organization “Money Management and Development Gira Ubukire” from 2018 to 2021 and Friends of Motherland Initiative Ubumuntu from 2022 to 2024. He also gained experience as a Marketing Officer at Twemanye Company Ltd. in 2017 and briefly served as an accountant at Garage La Prosperte Ltd. for five months in 2022. Alexis has always been passionate about personal and professional development, exemplifying qualities such as time management, loyalty, a focus on quality service delivery, and effective communication with customers. Beyond his professional endeavors, Alexis’s interests extend to the realm of sports. He has a deep love for basketball and is actively engaged in rural development initiatives. His dedication to teamwork, paired with his versatile skill set and commitment to community service make him a valuable asset to any organization. As an Exchange Volunteer for CorpsAfrica/Maroc, I am happy to serve the Moroccan community with all of my efforts!
