Jonfolo Jobarteh holds a degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Politics and International Relations, with a thesis titled “The Assessment of Female Political Participation in The Gambia Since Colonialism.” Passionate about advocacy and community development, Jonfolo has been actively involved in humanitarian and volunteer efforts from an early age. She previously volunteered with the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ) and was one of the pioneers of “Our Nation, Our Voice,” an initiative dedicated to inclusivity, involvement and participation of people in decision-making processes, a sign of her dedication to amplifying civic engagement. She is a youth committed to being “a voice for the voiceless,” hence her joining CorpsAfrica. She hopes to be a voice for the communities working directly with them, striving to empower people, drive meaningful change, and improve lives.
