Biography
Mercia Jorge graduated from AFDA: The School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, specializing in Marketing and Sales. During her studies she worked on group projects ranging from phase 1 to 4, these group projects included Drone Delivery in Rural areas for the elderly to AI apps that creates a personal algorithm for students under social and educational pressure to Fintech ideas. Her drive in life is based on impacting the lives of people regardless of one’s background.
Before she served as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, she worked as an Au Pair in the US for 2 years with children ranging from infancy to 4 years, she was able to achieve this with her previous volunteering experience in childcare through orphanages. She then moved on to training in International Business in Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College, in China with the interest of bridging educational services and teaching methods between countries. She completed her training with a certificate of completion, Honor Roll and a letter of appointment to work for the next 5 years as a Council Member of the first International Student Alumni Association at Wenzhou Polytechnic.
