Ashiraf Kakaire is an agricultural scientist with a bachelor’s degree in Science in Agriculture from Busitema University. He has additional training from PLANTWISE as a plant doctor. In addition, he has training and experience in mushroom production from AVSI. He has experience working as an enumerator at PULA Uganda where has gained skills and experience in managing plant health problems, mushroom production, data collection, management, and analysis. Ashiraf aspires to spearhead innovations in mitigating and adapting to climate change while enhancing food security for the growing population. Ashiraf is currently serving in Makindu village in the Buikwe district.
