Joseph Katsala is a motivated and innovative professional with over three years of combined experience in economic, technical, and leadership positions. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources as well as a CompTIA and Microsoft Packages Certification from Techno Brain Malawi. Between 2017 and 2018, Joseph worked with Alfa Car Hire as an Operations Analyst where he was responsible for managing and deploying the vehicle fleet across Malawi. In 2019, he worked in the Macroeconomic Department under the Ministry of Economic Planning and Development where he assisted in preparing for the Business Perception and Inflation Expectation Survey (BPIES). Joseph has also worked as a Programs Manager at Business Innovation for Community Development (BICD), an organization that seeks to assist the youth in business development and growth as well as mindset change. As a passionate writer, he has had some of his articles published in several magazines including the Writers Space Africa volumes across 2020 and 2021. He also received Presidential Recognition for his contributions to the National Planning Commission in the development of Vision 2063. Joseph sees CorpsAfrica as a perfect place for the opportunity to work with the rural society and exchange knowledge, share experiences on economic development, and the creation of sustainable livelihoods.
