Samuel Chege Kibebe was born and raised in Nakuru County, in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Finance option) with certificates in Agribusiness Management, Psychological First Aid, Project Management Essentials, Fundraising Essentials, Financial Management Essentials, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) in emergencies certificate, Invigilator Training Course and Community-Led Development and Human Centered Design certificate. Brought up in a rural setting and seeing his mother working as a community volunteer, he became a great lover and champion of humanity finding joy in serving and impacting lives. He is also a defender and promoter of environmental conservation and sustainable agricultural practices as well as an upcoming Community-Led Development campaigner. As a volunteer, he has had the opportunity to serve humanity and give back to his country. Following in the steps of his mother, his inspiration is drawn from the small impacts, smiles, and hope he is able to create in people’s lives. He hopes to take this to greater heights far beyond his country. This is why he joined CorpsAfrica. His interest is in working with non-governmental organizations that promote sustainable development for African communities in the fields of climate change, agriculture, environmental conservation, and social economic empowerment. His hobbies are reading, traveling, networking with new friends, and planting trees.
