Sheila Kigenda is an impact-driven professional specializing in community development, economic empowerment, financial inclusion, and advancing youth, women, and SME growth. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy with IT from Maseno University, providing a strong foundation for her work in socio-economic transformation.

She has built a proven track record in coordinating field operations, leading capacity-building initiatives and women’s empowerment programs, and engaging stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Known for her ability to build trust and manage diverse teams, Sheila brings both strategy and empathy to every project.

Currently serving as a Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Kenya, where she partners with rural communities to co-create sustainable solutions that address local challenges, deepen engagement, and strengthen livelihoods. This hands-on service has expanded her perspective and reinforced her commitment to grassroots development. Passionate about socio-economic development, Sheila is dedicated to designing and implementing projects that create sustainable livelihoods and empower communities to thrive.
