Biography

Essis Michelle is a Doctor in Economics, passionate about gender equality, education, and community development. Believing that sustainable change comes from the daily actions of committed individuals, she dedicates herself to initiatives that strengthen community autonomy and improve living conditions.

At CorpsAfrica/Côte d’Ivoire, Michelle serves as a Volunteer, learner, catalyst, and facilitator. She applies approaches such as CLD, HCD, and ABCD, enabling communities to lead their own development by leveraging their local resources. On the ground, she emphasizes listening, empathy, and adaptability, convinced that sustainable solutions emerge from the active participation of the people themselves.

Her work focuses on children’s education, particularly developing reading skills, and women’s empowerment through training and skills transfer. Committed and diligent, Michelle engages daily in inclusive and sustainable initiatives, guided by values of solidarity, ethics, and continuous learning.
