Chikhulupiliro Midian holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Political Leadership from the Catholic University of Malawi in 2019. She is passionate about sustainable development and improving the livelihood of people. She has a youth development, women empowerment, research, and governance background. She has worked both at international and local level. At the international level, she worked as a Junior Expert at the Common Market for East and Southern Africa (COMESA) Secretariate in Zambia under the Governance, Peace, and Security Unit. At COMESA, she participated in consultation meetings with stakeholders and civil servants on Zambia’s Structural Vulnerability and Resilience Assessment (CSVRA). She also participated in the 2022 International Women’s Day. At the local level, she interned at Kamuzu Central Hospital as a Hospital Ombudsman and as a Program Assistant intern at 50:50 Campaign Management Agency during the 2019 Tripartite elections. She has worked as a temporary Data Clerk at Rice 360 Institute for Global Health under the College of Medicine NEST Project and volunteered during her undergraduate study at Tiwasunge Community Based Organization that focused on community-led projects. Chikhulupiliro has recently completed pre-service training on Human Centered Design (HCD) Asset Based Community Led Development (ABCLD) and is excited to join Corps Africa as a Volunteer. This will allow her to practice community-led development and sustainable projects. Chikhulupiliro likes to watch football and comedies, listen to music during her free time, and meet new people.
