Biography

Marianah Mshani is a dedicated communications professional with a strong commitment to community development and social impact. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Mzuzu University. During her time at the university, she served as Secretary of the Mzuzu University United Nations Volunteers, where she gained leadership experience and strengthened her passion for volunteerism and global citizenship.

Professionally, Marianah has worked as a Communications Attaché at the National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF), where she contributed to enhancing organizational communication strategies and outreach. She also volunteered as a Communications Officer with Citizen Impact Organization, further deepening her interest in grassroots development and service to communities.

She is passionate about the socio-economic empowerment of youth and women, believing that access to opportunities and resources is key to creating sustainable change. Beyond her professional work, she enjoys reading, writing, and storytelling as ways to inspire and connect with others.

Marianah is excited to be part of Cohort 9 of CorpsAfrica Volunteers because it provides her with an opportunity to serve communities directly, apply her communication skills in meaningful ways, and collaborate on sustainable, community-led development initiatives. She looks forward to contributing to positive change while gaining valuable experience that will strengthen her leadership and impact.
