Biography
Khama Mtaya is a 2024 graduate of the University of Malawi with a degree in Arts and Humanities, specializing in Philosophy and Public Administration. Prior to CorpsAfrica, Khama worked with the nonprofit organizations CADECOM and DAI Malawi on projects related to climate change and Climate Just Communities, respectively. From May 2024 to July 2025, his duties as a research assistant included data collection and report writing. He also served as an intern with CRECCOM during his university studies, working on various projects, including “Green Jobs for Adolescent Youth,” where his duties involved training youths in different skills. Khama is a motivated individual who is ready to advance his skills in development initiatives by serving as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer.
