My name is Caroline Muema, joining the team as an Accounting Coordinator. I am a seasoned Finance and Grants Management Specialist; I have deep and diverse experience in all finance functions and grants management in Kenya and the East Africa region. Until last week, I was the Senior Finance & Sub-Grants Officer at Mercy Corps Kenya (overseeing subgrants management of partners in Kenya and the East Africa Region. Before that, I had held Finance, Grants, and Administration roles for various organizations.    I pride myself in driving transformational change through effective and efficient financial management of resources of the organization. And now I am excited to join Corps Africa and I look forward to being part of the revolutionary change that Corps Africa is working to achieve in Africa!    I am a Certified Public Accountant and a member of ICPAK (Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya) and a member of AWAK (Association of Women Accountants of Kenya). I also hold an undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Commerce- Finance) When am not working, I love reading, traveling, meeting new people, and cooking. I am also a mother of three wonderful children( 15yrs, 10yrs and 4yrs) I am glad to be part of the team and look forward to meeting you all.
