Biography
Simplice Namahoro has dedicated her career to strengthening education and empowering communities. She holds a Master’s degree in Education Planning Management and Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Entrepreneurship with Education from Mount Kenya University and a High School Diploma in Early Childhood Education from TTC Mururu.
Simplice has made a significant impact as both a teacher and an education supervisor. She began her journey teaching at Saint Nicolas Nursery & Primary Schools where she focused on developing curriculum, increasing student engagement and improving children’s literacy and numeracy. Her commitment to education led her to NewGlobe Educational Services as a School Supervisor. In this role, she trained and coached headteachers, monitored program implementation and offered strategic guidance to improve school management and teaching practices. Simplice’s career is a testament to her passion for helping others through knowledge and community involvement.
She believes that sustainable development starts with listening to communities and collaborating with them to create lasting solutions. Inspired by the resilience of rural communities. she is driven to improve education, empower youth and women and promote Human Centered Design and Asset Based Community Development as a path to a better future.
Currently, as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer in the Musanze District, Simplice is eager to fully engage with the local community, learn from their experiences and co create sustainable solutions. She is proud to be part of CorpsAfrica’s mission and is committed to contributing with empathy, humility and teamwork to build stronger and more resilient communities.
