Biography


Tom is a Kenyan environmental and community development specialist, having acquired a BSc degree in Environmental Studies and Community Development from Kenyatta University, Kenya. He is a researcher and practitioner specializing in climate change, sustainable development, and community resilience. He has worked with the Climate Change Unit Technical Group in Makueni County under the FLoCA World Bank initiative and as a Research Assistant, gaining experience in data analysis, project implementation, and policy engagement.

Tom is currently a Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Kenya, supporting community-driven development through Human-Centered Design approaches. He has also participated in national and international training on climate governance and adaptation, including one-on-one training by former US Vice President Al Gore on Climate Reality. Nevertheless, he has held leadership roles in university-based environmental initiatives.
