Frey Negash was born and raised in Tigray, Ethiopia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Mekelle Institute of Technology. She is a committed and confident individual. She has been passionate about serving her community as a volunteer. During her stay at the University, she worked at Araya charity, by identifying the needy people in the community around and collecting money to fund them. In addition, She helped the community by mentoring their children in her free time. She also served on an academic committee in the university to help female Students with lower grades academically and served as a volunteer for one year with Mekelle Electric Utilities and solved problems related to electricity in the community. Frey worked as a Supervisor for 3 years and 7 months in Variety Lighting Manufacturing PLC, Now she is the first cohort volunteer at CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia.
