Biography
Yordanos Niguse was born and raised in South West Shoa, Oromia, Ethiopia. From a young age, she exhibited quiet determination and a compassionate spirit. She pursued her degree in Industrial Engineering, graduating in July 2024 from Dire Dawa University. Her university experience extended beyond academics; she was actively involved in a charity club and the student union, dedicating her time to helping others.
Motivated by her passion for empowering women, Yordanos collaborated with ISHDO (Integrated Service for Health and Development Organization) to lead training sessions for newly enrolled female students in University. Through these workshops, she equipped young women with the skills to navigate university life with confidence, resilience, and purpose, planting seeds of leadership that continue to thrive.
Currently, Yordanos is committed to service as a volunteer with CorpsAfrica, where she works closely with communities. She believes in the power of local solutions and is dedicated to fostering sustainable change by partnering with the community. As she continues her journey, Yordanos embraces a simple yet profound motto: “We are all stories in the end, just make it a good one.”
