Biography
Miranda Nxele is a 23-year-old recent Bachelor of Arts graduate in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Johannesburg, from Philippi, Cape Town, Western Cape therefore she has deep understanding of underprivileged community dynamics. She is driven by a passion for mental health, education, and environmental sustainability. With a strong commitment to social justice and community development, she has actively volunteered with underprivileged communities, including serving as a mentor at Phakamani Young Minds Academy, where she empowered young people from Soweto.
Additionally, she has volunteered with the Limitless Education Skills Project, where she applies her skills to mentor and guide high school children from underprivileged backgrounds as they transition from Bantu black schools to universities. Her love for the environment has also led her to further her skills, completing a NQF Level 2 certification in Nature Site Guiding with Wildlife Environmental Society of Southern Africa. She hopes to make a meaningful impact in the community she serves, fostering growth, development, and positive change.
