Sande Bob was born in Uganda, Ntungamo, raised in Nyagatare district in eastern province of Rwanda. He is a devoted Environmentalist with bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Makerere university. He was a member of Nature Uganda as a part of the team in charge of community education and awareness for conservation of places of national importance, advocacy campaigns against deforestation and poaching of endangered species. He interned with Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village, in charge of both Ordinary Level and Advanced Level students’ training in soft and hard skills, for better and easy career decision making, transitioning to the job world and being able to engage in entrepreneurship activities. Bob has a great passion for leadership and he has served in different leadership capacities since high school. Recent one is where he had been a council representative of MasterCard foundation scholars program at makerere university, representing Makerere university at global stage where there are MasterCard foundation events with all other partner institutions. And in charge of give back activities, psychosocial support and mentorship programs of the scholar’s community at makerere university. He acquired several certificates such as “Responsible Leadership on Transparency and Good Governance” by YALI and “Embracing skills for transformational mindset change, Professionalism, Effective decision making, Effective communication and Community engagement” by MasterCard foundation at makerere university during Summer Camp 2019 among others. He is self-driven towards realization of his both professional and personal goals for a better future.
