Biography
Lusungu Sibale is a passionate young woman with a degree in Social Sciences from the University of Livingstonia (UNILIA), where she majored in Development Studies and minored in Human Rights. Her academic journey involved active participation in development projects. Before joining CorpsAfrica, Lusungu gained valuable experience as an intern at the Gender Office, Karonga District Council, and held various roles, including secretary at UNILIA and Zone Chair for 1D in Malawi with the Malawi District 412B LEO Club under Lions Club International.
She also volunteered with the University of Livingstonia at both campus and university levels, serving as Publicity Secretary and Vice General Secretary respectively. These roles equipped her with practical skills in effective communication, public speaking, active listening, and community engagement. With a passion for serving communities, Lusungu joined CorpsAfrica as a Volunteer, aiming to collaborate with local communities on development initiatives. She looks forward to utilizing her skills and experience to work in unity with communities, addressing challenges, and implementing sustainable solutions that promote ownership, growth, and opportunities.
