Bookkeeper

Rutagarama Kanimba Valence is a Bookkeeper at CorpsAfrica/Rwanda. He graduated in commercial and financial sciences at Institut Supérieur de Commerce de Kinshasa-Gombe and He also holds Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences and Economics from the Independent University of Kigali (ULK). With over 12 years of rich experience, he has worked in finance and economics across various Non-Profit Organizations, public, and private institutions. Valence has notably served as an auditor for Ahmed al Maktoum Foundation, KTB Broker (company insurer), Cabinet Bucco-dentaire, Cabinet Itau (consultancy firm), Lawyers for Hope (LOH), and Agrifop. He also worked as a consultant and bookkeeper for CorpsAfrica/Rwanda in 2019. In addition, he has had experience working with microfinance as a loan officer and expert for Sacco Karangazi, Sacco Bugesera, and Microfinance Lethego Ltd. Furthermore, Valence has made significant contributions to the Ministry of Planning as head of administration and finances, and has served as a chief accountant at the Office National de la Population (ONAP), and Tax controller at the Ministry of Finance in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Valence is a certified and licensed professional in Taxation, Accounting, and Auditing of banks and insurance companies, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.
