Project Demo Day

African Youth Pitching Community-led Development Projects
CorpsAfrica is proud to host Project Demo Days for the second year in a row. Starting in March, Project Demo Day will happen in each of CorpsAfrica's six countries (Morocco, Senegal, Malawi, Rwanda, Ghana, and Kenya) featuring local community-led projects presented by the Volunteers facilitating them. Inspired by Shark Tank, an American TV Show's pitch format, selected CorpsAfrica Volunteers pitch community-identified projects to local businesses, philanthropists, development partners, and more. During a 3-minute presentation to a panel of influential local figures, Volunteers cover important information such as project description, budget, and a funding appeal. Following the pitch, the panel and audience are encouraged to ask questions about the project and ultimately fund the remainder of the costs.
