Biography

Cherif Khoury Cherif Khoury is a communications strategist, producer, director, and photographer based in Dakar, Senegal. He consults for international production companies such as Make Waves Media, OffTheFence, WaterBear Network, and Backroads Pictures, with whom he has made films for Canal, Youtube Originals, CNN and Netflix that have been successful in Dubai (COP 27), Paris, England, USA, Italy, Senegal, etc.

As a communications consultant for various organizations in Senegal, Mr. Khoury has been working for CorpsAfrica/Senegal for seven years. As communications manager, he plays a central role in promoting the organization’s mission of fostering community development through volunteerism. In this capacity, he manages internal and external communications, including digital media, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement, to highlight the impact of CorpsAfrica volunteers across Senegal and Africa.

Cherif combines his love for traveling the country, producing, and directing while telling stories and sharing the perspectives of local communities through videos, films, journalistic vignettes, short and feature films, documentaries, and photographs on environmental issues and social justice.

While Khoury maintains a professional profile, his communication work suggests a passion for community-driven development, cultural exchange, and leveraging media for social good.
