Biography
Sea Don Moïse is a digital communication and youth engagement specialist committed to advancing peace, social cohesion, and active citizenship in Côte d’Ivoire.
He was awarded UNICEF Côte d’Ivoire’s Young Blogger of the Year for his advocacy for safe and responsible internet use, and for his active fight against misinformation and online hate speech.
As a youth speaker at the ECOSOC Youth Forum at the United Nations Headquarters in New York,
Sea represents the voice of a generation determined to contribute meaningfully to the Sustainable Development Goals.
In his role as National Coordinator of the Youth Volunteer Community of Côte d’Ivoire, he leads and supports a network of more than 1,500 young volunteers across the country, helping them launch and manage impactful community initiatives. In 2020, he played a key role in the success of the “For Peace, I Commit!” challenge, an initiative led by UNICEF that gained widespread visibility with over 5,000 shares on social media. He has also contributed to the Social Cohesion and Democratic Dialogue Support Project, funded by the European Union, and took part in the Youth, Peace and Security program implemented by Interpeace, mobilizing young people around peace and social harmony. Through the Community College Initiative Program, Sea studied media and digital communication at Northern Virginia Community College in the United States, where he also served as a Media and Digital Communication Specialist Intern at the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire in Washington, D.C., making a strong impression through his work with the Ivorian diaspora.
Deeply committed to community service, Sea was selected as a Volunteers Captain at the White House Easter Egg Roll, leading a team of volunteers.
He also organized outreach activities for the homeless in Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia—efforts he continues today in Côte d’Ivoire.
By a deep love for his country, he made the conscious decision to return to Côte d’Ivoire and apply his skills where they are most needed, helping empower young people and support communities in building a more inclusive and peaceful nation.
