Biography

Gidena Weldesenbet was born in Tigray, Ethiopia. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer engineering from Mekelle University. She is highly passionate about helping people, so during her time at the university, she Volunteered in different teams, mainly in ‘Drop of Water ‘charity. Their main activities/mission is to improve access to safe drinking water in rural parts of Ethiopia.
She has a natural ability to connect with people and adapt to different communities. Curious and open minded, Gidena enjoys traveling to new places and learning about other cultures. In her free time, she shares her knowledge by tutoring students, particularly during the summer months. Now she is a CorpsAfrica Volunteer.
