Biography
Alazar Buba Iya is an enthusiastic and dedicated individual from the Eastern Guji Zone in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. Born and raised in this vibrant area, Alazar developed a passion for learning early on and pursued higher education at Mattu University, where he earned a degree in Applied Physics.While attending university, Alazar’s commitment to helping others grow led him to tutor elementary school students, a role that not only allowed him to share his knowledge but also gave him valuable experience in education and mentorship. His desire to make a meaningful impact in his community became even more evident after his graduation when he chose to serve as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer. In this role, he works tirelessly to create positive change, using his skills and passion to uplift local communities. Driven by a deep sense of purpose, Alazar is focused on serving his community in every way he can, working toward solutions that improve the lives of those around him. He believes in the power of giving back and continuously looks for opportunities to contribute to the growth and well-being of his community.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Alazar is an avid swimmer, finding joy and relaxation in the water. His love for swimming reflects his belief in the importance of balance maintaining both physical well-being and mental clarity. Alazar remains committed to lifelong learning and personal growth, always striving to serve and uplift his community in new and meaningful ways.
