Ekram Abdulkadir’s journey began in the eastern part of Ethiopia, in a warm and vibrant town called Chelenko. She grew up in a large, loving family whose kindness, hard work, and strong values shaped her character from the start. From her earliest days, she learned that true wealth is found not only in achievements, but in how deeply we appreciate the people and moments around us.
Her education took root in Chelenko, where she studied from kindergarten to preparatory school, fueled by curiosity and determination. She later attended Haramaya University, earning her degree in Public Health, a field that matched her desire to serve communities and improve lives. Her academic journey was not just about gaining knowledge, but about carrying forward the gratitude she feels for every opportunity to learn and grow.
Gratitude is at the heart of who Ekram is. She practices it every single day, seeing it as a compass that keeps her grounded and positive, even in challenging times. This daily habit deepens her connection to others, strengthens her resilience, and reminds her that every step from her hometown streets to the halls of university is a blessing worth honoring.
Today, Ekram is more than a graduate in Public Health; she is a woman with a mission to uplift others, guided by compassion, hard work, and an unwavering sense of thankfulness.
