Biography

Alice Tupokiwe Kayira is a recent graduate from the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Extension, the Faculty of Development Studies. During her studies and field placements, Alice gained hands-on experience in community engagement, project implementation, and participatory approaches in agriculture and rural development.

Alice is more passionate about community development and youth empowerment. She has more than two years of practical experience working with communities in various capacities, including as a community development facilitator. In this role, she supported farmers through trainings, monitoring activities, and outreach programs.

Alice is committed to using her skills, knowledge, and passion to create sustainable solutions that address local challenges. Through the opportunity to serve with CorpsAfrica , she aims to strengthen her leadership abilities, promote participatory development, and contribute meaningfully to improving the livelihoods of rural communities.
