Biography
Awal Neina Nihad hails from Yendi in the Northern Region of Ghana and is deeply passionate about community development and public health. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Nutrition from the University for Development Studies, Tamale campus.
During her studies, Nihad gained valuable practical experience as a Nutrition Officer intern at the Nayilifong Community-Based Health Planning and Services Compound, where she worked closely with local communities to improve health outcomes.
Her commitment to service extended beyond the health facility through her volunteer work with CorpsAfrica/Ghana, a role that strengthened her leadership and community engagement skills. Building on this experience, Nihad broadened her impact by joining CorpsAfrica/Malawi as an exchange volunteer, contributing to sustainable development initiatives and community empowerment efforts.
Nihad’s academic background and hands-on experience reflect her unwavering dedication to improving lives, particularly in underserved communities. She continues to pursue opportunities that align with her mission of fostering health, education, and social progress across Africa.
