Biography

Beauty Kachere is a driven young woman, ready to take on the world. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Water Quality and Management from the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST). Before joining CorpsAfrica, Beauty served as an intern in the Ministry of Water and Sanitation’s Water Quality Section, worked as a Community-Based Participatory Planning Facilitator, and contributed as a Research Assistant.

Beauty is passionate about contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For her undergraduate project, she analysed the progress of SDG 6—Clean Water and Sanitation—in Mthandizi Ward using the WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme. Her goal is to help achieve this target by ensuring that everyone has access to safe water and sanitation services, which she believes are fundamental human rights. She was privileged to present her research findings at the Water Services Association of Malawi (WASAMA) conference during the commemoration of World Water Day 2025.
She was drawn to CorpsAfrica’s model of empowering volunteers to express their passions, discover more about themselves, develop new skills, and build strong networks. Beauty is eager to learn from and contribute to CorpsAfrica’s approach to community development.

Outside of her professional interests, she enjoys reading, meeting new people, learning new things, exploring, and traveling.
