Biography

Dzuwalathu Kaitano is a graduate of Mzuzu University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. She is passionate about education, gender equality, and community development, with a particular focus on advancing refugee education in Malawi. She currently serves as the Finance Manager at Girls Can Malawi and leads Without Borders, an initiative she founded to help both refugee and Malawian students attain quality education.

She has also worked with ActionAid Malawi on a feminist well-being economy project, further strengthening her advocacy for inclusive and sustainable development. Her passion lies in creating equal educational opportunities, addressing gender disparities, and empowering marginalized communities to thrive through knowledge and mentorship.

She is excited to be part of the cohort as it represents more than just growth, it is a space to connect, share, and build lasting change alongside other passionate individuals. Outside her professional work, she finds joy in singing, reading, and writing, which continually fuel her creativity and strengthen her voice as an advocate for education and equality.
