Biography

Elizabeth Mwale holds a Bachelor’s degree in Gender and development from LUANAR, she is a dedicated social worker, gender activist and rights promoter. Before joining CorpsAfrica. Elizabeth did internship with Neno District Council under Gender Affairs and Social Welfare Offices. She supported in handling various gender related issues, providing technical expertise on gender and social welfare individual clients, Facilitated and attended trainings and meetings with different stakeholders and departments.

She volunteered with Progeressio Malawi under Youth Net and Counselling (YONECO) as a community Liaison where she Facilitated community activities, made follow-ups and act as a bridge between the office and targeted working group.

She did attachments and volunteered with Rumphi District Social Welfare Office where she assisted in case management, facilitation and making CBCC paly materials. Her experience and education provide a solid foundation for her endeavours with CorpsAfrica/Malawi which will provide effective and sustainable impacts on the community of her service.

Elizabeth is passionate about community work. She is committed to empowering marginalized communities and promoting social justice. This drove her to be a CorpsAfrica volunteer where she will deliver what she is passionate for by working collaboratively with community members in the implementation of sustainable projects that will bring a positive impact in their lives. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, chatting with people, listening to music, reading a Bible and lastly playing Netball.
