Biography
Hannah Katanga is a dedicated and passionate development professional with a Bachelor of Science in Transformative Community Development from Mzuzu. With a strong commitment to sustainable development and community growth, Hannah has been actively engaged in initiatives that empower individuals and communities.
In 2023, she volunteered as a Peer Educator at APAUSE Youth Organization, where she empowered young people with vital life skills and health knowledge, fostering a culture of empowerment and growth. She was also a member of the Youth Action Movement (YAM) which is under the Family Planning Association of Malawi (FPAM) championing Reproductive and Health Rights. Through her experience as a Youth Researcher with the Centre for Youth Empowerment and Civic Engagement (CYECE) under the Youth Researchers Academy program, Hannah gained valuable insights into the needs and challenges of people, fueling her commitment to evidence-based approaches in community development and sustainable initiatives.
Driven by her passion for community development, Hannah is eager to use her skills and experience during CorpsAfrica’s service to drive positive change and support sustainable initiatives. She is committed to work with local communities, understanding their challenges and helping them implement solutions that will have long-term impact.
