Biography
Selina Malikha graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and Midwifery from the University of Malawi – Kamuzu College of Nursing. Before and after graduation, she has been working as a Nurse-Midwife Volunteer at Machinga District Hospital, where she provided basic patient care and health education on various topics, promoting health literacy and fostering a proactive approach to well-being.
While at school, she also worked as a Community Health Nurse with Life Ministries Malawi in the Tingathe Project, promoting water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices among women in Balaka and Machinga Districts, respectively. This was aimed at building their capacity in managing water, sanitation, and hygiene, enabling them to make informed decisions and take ownership of their health and environmental sustainability.
This sparked her interest to work with CorpsAfrica, as she believes that being part of CorpsAfrica will pave the way for her to serve society through imparting knowledge and skills to rural communities by focusing on community led-development.
