Biography

Diana Sumba is a dedicated Community Development Practitioner with a strong passion for service, social impact, and sustainable development. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development and Environment from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and a certificate in Mental Health Awareness from Finding Me Community.

Her professional journey reflects her commitment to improving lives through counselling, psychology, social work, and community empowerment. Diana gained hands-on experience during her internship at Lodwar County Referral Hospital, where she served as a Social Worker and Community Health Worker, supporting individuals and families with both medical and psychosocial needs.

Currently, Diana is a Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Kenya, where she continues to contribute her knowledge and skills toward community-driven development initiatives.

Beyond her academic and professional work, Diana is deeply motivated by a belief in service to others, fostering resilience in communities, and promoting mental health and well-being. She aspires to make a lasting impact by empowering communities, nurturing social change, and championing sustainable development.
